Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef shoulder
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together garlic, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the beef shoulder.
  4. Place the beef shoulder in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 4 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and roast for an additional 30 minutes to develop a nice crust.
  7. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
