- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, and dried thyme to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs overnight.
