- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 head cabbage, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- In a slow cooker, combine beef, onion, garlic, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes.
- Pour the beef broth over the ingredients and add thyme, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.
- Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
- Remove bay leaf before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of red wine.
- Top with fresh parsley before serving for a pop of color.
