Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas and carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside with the turkey bacon.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and mixed vegetables, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Return the shrimp and turkey bacon to the skillet, add soy sauce and sesame oil, and mix well.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can also be customized with additional vegetables or proteins of your choice.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of chili sauce.
