- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound crab meat, picked over for shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, shrimp, crab, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, remaining sauce, and mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding a dash of white wine to the marinara sauce.
- Make sure to use fresh seafood for the best taste.
