- 1 cup rice
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- Add diced chicken ham to the pot and sauté until browned.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
- Stir in rice, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked.
- Mix in the cooked turkey bacon, stirring well to combine.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding some hot sauce when serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
