Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 tablespoons turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, etc.)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add the chicken ham and mixed seafood, cooking until the seafood is opaque.
  4. Stir in the rice and Cajun seasoning, ensuring everything is well combined.
  5. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the rice is cooked through.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork, then stir in the cooked turkey bacon.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
