Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet skin-side down.
  3. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  7. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter sauce, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
