    • 2 cups chopped apples (Honeycrisp recommended)
  • For the Date-Caramel Sauce:
    • 10 medjool dates (pitted)
    • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
    • 1/4 cup maple syrup
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the Caramel Icing:
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 tbsp milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast in warmed milk, then mix with honey, eggs, and flour to form the dough.
  2. Allow the dough to rise, then incorporate butter and let it rise again.
  3. Prepare the apple filling and roll out the dough to assemble the cinnamon rolls with the apple mixture inside.
  4. Bake until golden and top with homemade date-caramel sauce and icing.
