Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
4 large potatoes, sliced
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix until well combined.
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the meat mixture. Repeat layers.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
