- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, provolone cheese, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
- Pour the beef broth around the meatloaf in the dish.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, top the meatloaf with additional provolone cheese during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Serve with a side of sautéed onions and peppers for added taste.
