- 1 loaf garlic bread
- 1 pound beef steak
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers and sauté until softened.
- Add the beef steak to the skillet and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Slice the garlic bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
- Spread the beef and pepper mixture evenly over the garlic bread.
- Top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Add your favorite hot sauce for extra spice.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with mushrooms or your choice of meat alternative.
