- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 cup sliced steak
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and bell peppers until tender.
- Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Layer the steak mixture onto the bread halves.
- Top with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
