Description

This Orange Creamsicle Cake is a delightful summer dessert that combines the nostalgic flavors of orange creamsicles with the richness of cake. Perfect for any gathering, it’s a refreshing treat that’s sure to impress.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of orange cake mix (and required ingredients: eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 package of orange Jell-O
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the orange cake as per the mix’s instructions and allow it to cool.
  2. Poke holes throughout the cake and pour a mixture of orange Jell-O dissolved in hot and cold water over it.
  3. For the frosting, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in vanilla pudding mix, orange Jell-O, milk, and vanilla extract. Fold in Cool Whip.
  4. Spread the frosting over the cake and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • For a lighter cake, substitute water with orange juice in the cake mix.
