- 2 New York strip steaks
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steaks.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.
- Add butter, garlic, and rosemary to the skillet.
- Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, basting the steaks with the melted butter.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
