- 4 pieces chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, marinate chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
- In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
