- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and chop.
- In the same pan, cook the ground turkey, onion, and garlic until the turkey is browned.
- Add the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Stir in chopped turkey bacon.
- Layer the bottom of a greased casserole dish with cabbage. Top with turkey mixture and sprinkle cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
