- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the garlic herb butter mixture over them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the herb butter mixture for at least an hour before baking.
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
