- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the pan and cook until they turn pink.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat well.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry, and add to the shrimp to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for another few minutes until the sauce thickens and shrimp are fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- This dish is best served immediately over rice or noodles.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
