Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyere)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
  3. Sauté the onions until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked bacon, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix until well combined, then shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
