Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyere)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy; set aside.
Sauté the onions until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked bacon, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Mix until well combined, then shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
