- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 hamburger buns
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup tomato, sliced
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a sheet pan and shape it into a large rectangle.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked to your liking.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the cheese slices over the beef to allow them to melt.
- Once cooked, remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Cut into squares and serve on hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.
