Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the diced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Top with half of the sliced steak, onion, and green pepper.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour the beef broth over the top and season with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once cooked, stir to combine and serve hot.

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños.
  • Use smoked provolone for a deeper flavor.
