  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo crab meat
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and parsley.
  2. Place about a tablespoon of the crab mixture onto the center of a wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over to seal the filling inside.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the crab bombs until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can bake the crab bombs instead of frying them.
  • Feel free to add your favorite seasonings for extra flavor.
