- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then add spinach. Stir until spinach wilts.
- Season with salt and pepper. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy shrimp mixture and toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using seasoned shrimp or adding red pepper flakes for heat.
- You can substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth for a lighter version.
