- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and bacon back into the skillet. Toss to coat and heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, consider adding red pepper flakes.
- Using fresh shrimp will enhance the flavor significantly.
