- 1 large head of cabbage
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the core from the cabbage and gently separate the leaves.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Chop into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix the turkey bacon, cheese, cooked rice, bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Take a cabbage leaf and fill it with the mixture, rolling it up tightly. Repeat with remaining leaves.
- Place stuffed cabbage steaks in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve hot with additional cheese on top if desired.
