- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Slice the sub rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet.
- Fill each roll with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other toppings like jalapeños or bell peppers.
