This Cheesy Ground Beef Scalloped Potato Casserole is the perfect comforting dish for families, combining rich flavors with hearty ingredients.

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 onion chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned; drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the ground beef mixture, and half of the soup mixture. Repeat the layers.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove the foil, top with shredded cheddar cheese, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh potatoes instead of frozen ones.
