This Cheesy Ground Beef and Potato Casserole is a comforting, family-friendly dish that brings together the delightful flavors of ground beef, potatoes, and cheese.

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
4 large potatoes, sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
Pour the soup mixture over the top layer.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
Remove the foil, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in some diced bell peppers or mushrooms.
