- 1 pound flank steak
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the flank steak flat and pound it to an even thickness.
- In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the steak.
- Roll the steak tightly and secure with kitchen twine.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak roll on all sides.
- Transfer the steak roll to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the steak in your favorite marinade for a few hours prior to preparing.
