- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms; sauté until softened.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Cut biscuit dough into quarters and fold into the beef mixture.
- Transfer to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbly.

- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
