Description

This Pineapple Blueberry Dump Cake is the epitome of easy yet delicious desserts. With minimal prep and simple ingredients, you can create a mouthwatering dessert that combines the tropical sweetness of pineapple with the tartness of blueberries, all under a crispy, golden topping. Perfect for gatherings, potlucks, or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, for topping)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the crushed pineapple (with its juice) evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  3. Scatter the blueberries over the pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Do not stir.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much of it as possible.
  6. If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • If using frozen blueberries, there’s no need to thaw them first.
  • For a crunchier topping, you can add more nuts or a sprinkle of granulated sugar before baking.
