  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven’s broiler.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, green onions, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is well combined and slightly toasted.
  • Arrange the oysters on a baking sheet lined with rock salt or crumpled foil to keep them steady. Spoon about a tablespoon of the breadcrumb mixture onto each oyster.
  • Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 5-7 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the oysters are cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
