Description

This copycat Olive Garden salad dressing is a creamy, tangy, and flavorful dressing that pairs perfectly with a fresh salad. It’s easy to make with simple ingredients and can also be used as a marinade.


Ingredients

  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix (or homemade Italian seasoning mix)
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Mix Ingredients: Whisk together the Italian dressing mix, olive oil, white vinegar, water, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sugar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend: For a smoother consistency, use a blender to emulsify the ingredients better.
  • Rest: Refrigerate the dressing for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Store: Store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid in the refrigerator. Shake well before each use.
