Description

Delicious no-bake coconut cream balls with a creamy coconut center coated in smooth chocolate. A quick, no-oven-required dessert that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or as a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz semi-sweet or white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix shredded coconut, condensed milk, vanilla extract, salt, and powdered sugar until a sticky dough forms.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 30-45 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in the microwave, stirring at 30-second intervals.
  • Dip chilled coconut balls into melted chocolate and place them back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  • Let the chocolate set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for a less sweet option.
  • Add sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration.
