  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce (Optional):

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking sheet.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, ½ cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Beat eggs in a separate dish.
  • Coat each chicken breast in eggs and then in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer chicken to the baking sheet, top with remaining Parmesan and provolone/mozzarella. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400°F.
  • (Optional) Prepare the cream sauce: Heat heavy cream, stir in Parmesan and garlic powder, and cook until thickened.
  • Serve the chicken with or without sauce.

  • The cream sauce is optional but adds extra richness.
  • Ensure the internal chicken temperature reaches 165°F for safe consumption.
