- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add chicken and cook until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add Italian seasoning, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
- Return chicken to the skillet; toss everything together.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
