  • Author: Wendy Balderas
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This dish features tender garlic butter chicken bites served over a rich and creamy Parmesan pasta. It’s a perfect balance of savory flavors with garlic, butter, and Italian-seasoned chicken, complemented by a luscious cheese sauce coating the pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For Garlic Butter Chicken Bites:
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • For Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
    • 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 cup chicken broth
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Extra garlic butter (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the chicken bites: Heat olive oil in a skillet, season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  • Prepare the garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, and toss in the cooked chicken.
  • Make the creamy Parmesan sauce: In another skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream and chicken broth, then gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese. Simmer until smooth.
  • Combine and serve: Toss the cooked pasta in the Parmesan sauce. Serve topped with garlic butter chicken, drizzle extra sauce if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding pasta water or chicken broth if it thickens too much.
  • You can replace fettuccine with your favorite type of pasta.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
