Ingredients

- 3 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a medium bowl.
- Mash avocados with a fork or potato masher until smooth or chunky, depending on your preference.
- Add diced red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, minced jalapeño pepper, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavours to meld.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño pepper according to your spice preference.
- For a chunkier texture, mash the avocados less.
- Ensure to press the plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to prevent browning
