Description

A zesty and creamy guacamole with a spicy kick, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  • Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a medium bowl.
  • Mash avocados with a fork or potato masher until smooth or chunky, depending on your preference.
  • Add diced red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, minced jalapeño pepper, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  • Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavours to meld.
  • Serve chilled with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of jalapeño pepper according to your spice preference.
  • For a chunkier texture, mash the avocados less.
  • Ensure to press the plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to prevent browning
