Description

A delicious and easy-to-make casserole combining savory ground beef with the crunch of Doritos, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed Doritos
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
  • 1 cup crushed Doritos (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, milk, 1 cup crushed Doritos, diced onion, diced green bell pepper, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined and press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 1 cup crushed Doritos on top.
  • Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
