- 1–1/2 cups of Quaker® Old Fashioned Oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a variation, add chocolate chips or nuts as desired.
- Store in an airtight container to keep cookies soft and chewy.
