Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can beef broth (measured using the cream of mushroom soup can)
  • Egg noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  • Place the beef stew meat into the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the beef. Add the cream of mushroom soup and drained mushrooms.
  • Pour in the beef broth, measured with the cream of mushroom soup can, and stir until combined.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 6–8 hours or on High for 3–4 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Near the end of cooking, prepare the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain.
  • Serve the beef tips and sauce over the egg noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, try using homemade beef broth or add vegetables like carrots or peas. This recipe can be customized with different types of pasta or additional herbs for variety.
