A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish featuring boneless, skinless chicken breasts stuffed with a rich mixture of cream cheese, bacon, and cheddar cheese, coated in crushed Doritos for a crispy and golden brown finish.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mix together the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  • Cut a pocket into each chicken breast by slicing horizontally but not all the way through.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the cream cheese mixture, then secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Dip each stuffed chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with crushed Doritos.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove the toothpicks before serving and garnish with extra green onions if desired.
