  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in olive oil.
  • Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  • Combine Spices: Stir in Dijon mustard (if using), lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add Herbs: Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley and chives.
  • Serve: Pour into a serving bowl and enjoy warm with meats, seafood, bread, or vegetables.
