Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 250g egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and slice into thin strips.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, tossing to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce.
  • Return the sliced chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
