- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and sliced carrots, cooking for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the beef broth and water. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the cabbage and carrots are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
