Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 pieces of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1/2 jalapeño, sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 3 Tablespoons blackberry jam
  • 1 Tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice. Place one slice, butter side down, on a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Layer Swiss cheese, bacon, and jalapeño slices on the bread in the skillet. Spread blackberry jam on the non-buttered side of the second bread slice and place it jam side down on top of the ingredients.
  3. Cook until the bread is golden brown and cheese has melted, flipping once.
