Description

A festive and delightful treat combining the sweetness of caramel and the tanginess of apple cider, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup caramel-flavoured vodka
  • 2 packets unflavoured gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine apple cider, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Heat over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle the gelatin over the liquid, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
  • Add the caramel-flavoured vodka and stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into silicone moulds or a small baking dish.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
  • Once set, cut into bite-sized pieces if using a baking dish.
  • Optional: Top with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

  • Use silicone moulds for easy removal.
  • Ensure gelatin is fully dissolved to avoid lumps.
  • Allow adequate chilling time for the shots to set properly.
